QPR have lodged a £5.5m offer for Marseille’s Mathieu Valbuena, matching an accepted bid from Dinamo Moscow for the playmaker, according to reports from L’Equipe.

The France international looks set to leave the Ligue side in the coming months, yet he has rejected the Russian giants in a bid to land a move to one of Europe’s more established leagues.

QPR are understood to have levelled the same bid as was accepted by Marseille, and are keen to get the player to Loftus Road.
