Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic will not be leaving the Etihad this summer, according to his agent Fali Ramadani.
Jovetic has struggled to make a real mark at City since he arrived for big money in the summer after rejecting Arsenal.
The Montenegrin started the season with an injury and has been behind the in-form Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko and Alvaro Negredo.
A number of clubs from Italy are interested in taking the forward back to Serie A in the summer but City are not keen on selling and Jovetic wants to prove that he can cope in England.
Aguero is close to returning to full fitness but Jovetic may get his chance in the FA Cup today against Chelsea to show City fans and the rest of English football what he is all about.
“I don’t know who’s put around these rumours,” Fali Ramadani told TuttoJuve.
“But the lad’s only been at City for six months and will stay there for a lot longer.”
Juventus and Inter Milan are planning bids for the striker but they will not be anywhere near the £22million that Manuel Pellegrini forked out for him.
