Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is still coy over the future of Manchester United target Angel di Maria, Express reports.
Di Maria has been heavily linked in making a move out of the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, with United favourites to sign the want-away Argentine.
Recent reports have suggested the Red Devils are willing to use up to £100million to land his services, which would be a big addition to Real’s funds after the European champions spent £85million on James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos.
With competition for a starting berth so fierce at Madrid, head coach Carlo Ancelotti has admitted he is unsure over Di Maria’s future but will select him to play if he is available.
“I don’t want to enter into this theme so I don’t lose focus on tomorrow’s game [against Atletico Madrid], he stated.
“Di Maria is available like all the others. He may or may not start the game and has opportunities, but like everyone else.
“I don’t know what Di Maria has decided. But I know that he’s training and that he could help us in tomorrow’s match.
“Until August 31 it will continue the same way and after that everything will be cleared up and things will return to normal.”
Di Maria was close to signing for Ligue-1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, but the move broke down after the two clubs couldn’t agree on an appropriate fee.
