AC Milan star Stephan El Shaarawy insists he has no intentions of leaving the club amidst interest from Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester United, Express reports.
El Shaarawy was believed to be looking for a way out of the Giuseppe Meazza stadium after not being placed in Clarence Seedorf’s recent starting XI.
The Italian international only featured six times in Serie A last season due to a foot injury, but after recovering couldn’t nail down a first team slot and missed out on the World Cup.
But at 21 years old, there is still time to fulfil his potential with Arsene Wenger and Brendan Rodgers wanting to use his versatility in their respective title challenges next season.
Man United boss Louis van Gaal also sees El Shaarawy as the perfect replacement for outgoing Portuguese winger Nani.
However “Il Faraone” is adamant he’ll fight for a place at AC Milan and be part of Seedorf’s line-up next season.
“I don’t know about these club questions and I don’t know what will happen,” he explained.
“I’m just thinking of doing well. My future is Milan and we’ll be looking to do as well as we can next season.
“It was unlikely that I’d be going to the World Cup after having played so little. I did all I could and I was a bit unlucky as well. It was good to be back for the last two league games though.
“When you do well, expectations rise and it’s not easy to keep the pace so high. I think I performed well and I felt good.”
