Man United look set to revive their interest in Brazilian wonder kid Lucas Moura, according to The Daily Mail.
Sir Alex Ferguson is keen to strengthen his side after missing out on silverware last season. The veteran manager has already signed Japanese prodigy Shinji Kagawa from Borussia Dortmund and will be looking to add even more international flair to his squad.
Representatives from Old Trafford were said to have met with Lucas Moura’s father earlier this year but were given the impression that the Sao Paolo ace was to sign for Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Reports also surfaced that Chelsea had a £32.4 million bid turned down for the 19-year old, with his agent stating that Moura was in no rush to leave Brazil, telling Roman Abramovich directly not to bother with a bid until after the 2014 World Cup.
However, it is thought that Manchester United will be looking to entice Moura and his family over to England with an audacious bid and the promise of first team football.
Young Lucas Moura, already has 13 international caps for his country and it is thought that he will be his nations star man at the 2014 World Cup, which is due to be hosted in Brazil.
