Osvaldo joined the Saints for a club record £17million in the summer and has scored one goal in five games, with competition for places high in the Southampton front line.
The former Roma ace was surprised at just how different life in the Premier League is compared to his time in Italy and Spain but he now feels adapted to life in England.
The pace and physicality has impressed the 27 year old, along with supporters attitude towards the game both on and off the field.
“I am getting adapted to English football. It is very different to Italian and Spanish.
“In England, football is much more physical than Italian and Spanish, and it is played with an impressive rhythm despite the fact it’s less technical than in Spain.
“What I like very much is the passion of the supporters, it’s like they are crazy during the match but once it ends, everything is calm. They salute their team and go home without any problem, that’s fantastic.”
