Stoke City midfielder Wilson Palacios wants to stay with the Potters and show the club he is worth what they paid for him, as reported by Sky Sports.
Palacios has been a bit part player for Stoke since he joined, making just 20 appearances over the past two years.
Tony Pulis made the former Tottenham and Wigan midfielder a marquee signing back in 2011 but rarely used the Honduras international in his time at the club.
Palacios is keen to show Stoke that he is worthy of a spot in their side and has ruled out his cut price sale this summer.
“For Pulis, I played on 42 minutes last season,” Palacios said.
“He bought me for about £6.5m and I don’t know why. I want to show the fans that I am not a lemon.
“I feel I haven’t given anything to Stoke for what they paid.”
Palacios is set to be the main man in Honduras’ side this summer at the World Cup in Brazil.
