The 26-year-old Spaniard has been a revelation at the Liberty Stadium this season scoring 16 goals in all competitions after a modest £2million move in the summer.
That classy form has alerted the top clubs in England and Spain and the Swans are bracing themselves for huge interest at the end of the season.
Despite recently signing a contract extension for the South Wales club, Michu may be prized away from Swansea if a bigger club firms up their interest.
The Spanish striker however is happy to remain at Swansea for the long term and although he admits every player wants to play in the Champions League, helping Swansea win a trophy and qualify for the Europa League at Wembley later this month is his priority.
“All players want to get to the very top, but I’m really happy at Swansea. I’m not thinking about next year or big clubs,” Michu said.
“It’s good when your name is mentioned alongside big clubs, but I’m living a dream in Swansea.
“I’m also waiting for the final against Bradford. We have a chance to get into Europe.
