Former England manager Glenn Hoddle has declared he is ready to return to management after a whopping eight years out of it, as reported by talkSPORT.
Hoddle is among the favourites for the Swansea job after they sacked Michael Laudrup this week and reports even suggested that he has been interviewed by the South Wales club.
The 56 year old has dismissed those reports though and even went as far as to say that he doesn’t think Swansea would be the right club for him at the moment.
Hoddle is biding his time in regards to a new job but is keen to get back into the game as soon as possible should the right club come calling.
“Swansea are a smashing football team and they play some beautiful football but, no, that contact hasn’t been there. It is just a lot of speculation,” Hoddle said.
“It’s flattering to be connected with the job. It’s got to be right for me at this moment and, at this moment in time, I don’t think it is.”
