The Capital One Cup always springs a few surprise results, with League One side Bradford City reaching the final in last year’s competition, only to fall at the final hurdle to Swansea City.

Round 5 of this seasons Capital One Cup has given fans plenty of excitement, with Man City putting 3 past Leicester City away from home, but more surprisingly, Sunderland beating Jose Mourinho’s blues 2-1 in the 118th minute.

West Ham shocked Spurs 2-1 at White Hart Lane while Man United beat Stoke City 2-0 at the Britannia stadium thanks to Ashley Young and Patrice Evra.

The Capital One Cup semi-finals are as follows:

Sunderland v Manchester United
