Thousands of Chilean supporters are set to march to protest Alexis Sanchez' future at Arsenal and beg their hero to leave the club, according to a variety of reports including from Metro.

What's the word?

With Alexis Sanchez now well into the final 18 months of his deal and looking to be an extremely frustrated figure within North London, speculation that the two-time Copa America winner could demand an exit this summer has flooded the back pages.

Arsenal have been desperately trying to secure Alexis down to a new contract, along with fellow superstar Mesut Ozil, but have so far been unsuccessful and have seen their ambitions take a hit due to their struggles on the field.

Arsene Wenger's future is now hanging in the balance, which could also influence Alexis' decision to stay at Arsenal, and fans in the forward's home nation of Chile are making their belief that their international hero should leave this summer abundantly clear.

What was said?

A description of a planned event in the Chilean capital of Santiago reads:

‘We, as Chileans are tired to watch one of our biggest stars play on his own to make his team get through.'

‘We don’t want him to play at Real Madrid, nor go back to Barcelona, we don’t give a f*** where he plays, we just want him to fight along with 10 other players to get the results.'

‘He doesn’t deserve to be alone.’
