Arsenal played out a 0-0 draw with struggling Manchester United at the Emirates this evening.
The result meant the Gunners were unable to leapfrog Chelsea at the top of the table, having slipped from top spot after winning just one game – against lowly Crystal Palace – in their last four.
The home side dominated United for the majority of the game though were unable to get themselves on the scoresheet and towards the end were thankful for Wojceich Szczesny’s wondersave denying Robin van Persie.
With just 12 games left this season to rediscover their winning touch, here’s what Arsenal need to do to challenge for the Premier League title…
1) Give Mesut Ozil something to work with. Sure, he hasn’t been producing like a £42m pound man, but he hasn’t had much support.
Mesut Özil created more chances than any other player on the pitch tonight (6). Man Utd's entire side created just 2. pic.twitter.com/xqzDCOlLQc

I tell you Ronaldo made Ozil far better player at Madrid and he'll not get that support at Arsenal. #MUFC

A restaurant can hire world's best chef but if there are no customers, the chef's talent is useless. Same with Ozil, need someone to serve.

2) Get someone on the medical team at London Colney to pull Olivier Giroud’s finger out.
Olivier Giroud misses another big chance to win a big game. Nowhere near good enough to lead the line for this club.

Giroud stats: Header accuracy: 0% Shot accuracy: 0% Attack positioning: 0% Pass accuracy: 15% Overall Rating: No Idea!!

3) Get Lukas Podolski back in the starting line-up. The Germans’s goals, maturity and history of performing at the highest level are exactly what’s needed when Arsenal’s season goes from push to shove.
Giroud can not be the striker next season, whilst I'm struggling to see why Podolski is at Arsenal if we're not going to use him.

If Podolski had half the games that clown have had, he'd be indispensable by now. #Giroud

What does Podolski have to do to get a game?
