After Napoli declared their interest in signing Sandro from Tottenham Hotspur, the club placed a huge £20million price tag on the player, Daily Mail reports.
With only 25 appearances in the previous season due to a fair share of injuries, Rafael Benitez is believed to still be targeting the Brazilian midfielder.
He sees the player as a possible reinforcement in bids to sure up his midfield after completing a good Serie A campaign with a third place finish, ensuring Champions League football.
Although Mauricio Pochettino is believed in wanting to retain the services of Sandro, the club are open to letting him leave should a minimum offer of £20million be made.
However, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis will not be looking to spend such a huge amount, playing down a potential switch for the Spurs star who still has two years remaining on his current contract.
