Arsenal and Liverpool will need to look elsewhere for a top striker as Real Madrid have confirmed that Karim Benzema has penned a new contract, Metro reports.
The French front man extended his stay at the Bernabeu up until his new deal expires in 2019, ending hopes of a switch to the English Premier League.

It was believed that the 26-year-old striker was on his way out of Spain after rumours suggested that the Champions League winners were making a move for want-away Monaco forward Radamel Falcao.
However, with the confirmation, Benzema is set to remain in Madrid with any attempts to sign the Columbian probably now out of the question.
The former Lyon star spent five years with the La Liga giants, scoring 111 goals in 235 games and now looks set to remain with one of the world’s most lethal attacking forces with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, and James Rodriguez.
