PSG starlet Kingsley Coman has snubbed Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Newcastle to join Juventus, Express reports.
The young Frenchman dubbed the ‘New Paul Pogba’ signed with the Serie A champions on a free transfer amid plenty of interest from the English Premier League.
He told Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport: “There were Newcastle, Arsenal and Tottenham interested in me too.
“But I have chosen Juventus because I love their history. This was the club of Platini, Zidane and Trezeguet.”
The 18-year-old signing was announced on Juventus official website as: “predominantly right-footed, a technical and creative player blessed with extraordinary pace, long-range shooting ability and a unique vision to dictate the game.”
Coman will ironically be joining the man he has been compared to, Paul Pogba.
The two followed similar career paths, allowing their contracts to run out at a big club before making a move to Juventus.
Pogba left Manchester United in 2012 to establish himself as one of the best midfielders in the world, and Coman will be hoping to emulate the Juve man in Turin.
