The agent of Ukraine winger Yevhen Konoplyanka has fuelled rumours that Liverpool have reignited their interest in signing him, according to the Daily Mail.

The 24-year-old was the subject of a failed deadline day bid from the Reds, and has since been linked with a move to Tottenham.

However, the Dnipro winger’s agent has sparked further rumours over his clients future, by Tweeting: ‘On route to Liverpool..’ on Thursday.

Dnipro president Ihor Kolomoyskyi had previously claimed Tottenham had expressed an interest following their clash with the Ukraine club in the Europa League, when £16m-rated Konoplyanka hit the winner from the spot against in the first leg.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers admitted in January that the club may review the situation with Konoplyanka in the summer, after admitting the player was ‘desperate’ to complete the switch to Anfield.

Rodgers looks to have guided Liverpool to Champions League football for next season, and would view Konoplyanka as a ‘next level’ signing he previously spoke of.

The Reds travel to West Ham on Sunday looking to cement their place at the top of the Premier League table.
