Liverpool defender Daniel Agger has been linked with a move away from the club throughout the summer and is once again hinting at another possible exit, Metro reports.
It looked as though Agger’s place in the squad was safe after Brendan Rodgers announced his intentions to keep him, but with news of the possible addition of Dejan Lovren from Southampton, he is once again feeling the pressure.
The 29-year-old centre-back only made 23 appearances the previous season after suffering various injuries and couldn’t win back his first team place upon his return as Rodgers turned to the pairing of Martin Skrtel and Mamadou Sakho instead.
“How things turned out last season is not acceptable for me,” he told Danish newspaper, BT.
“It is no secret that I had problems last season and I am considering things.
“I am here now and it is up to me to show the coach that I should play.
“Many things can happen in football and I do not want to exclude anything.”
