West Brom scraped a draw against Everton at The Hawthorns and avoided a last minute loss when Silvan Distan's goal was disallowed.

Gareth Barry slammed a shot which was cleared off the line but fell to Distin who put it in the back of the net. However referee Michael Oliver disallowed the goal for offside.

The first half had started off slowly with only half chances falling to Bryan Oviedo and Zoltan Gera at either end. However in the 41st minute Everton's Kevin Mirallas ran onto a knock down from Romelu Lukaku, and slotted it past West Brom keeper Ben Foster.

The second half started off pretty uneventfully until substitute Victor Anichebe nearly got on the end of a cross from Nicolas Anelka at the near post. It took until the 71st minute for The Baggies to strike through Diego Lugano, who headed in from close range off a corner.

The early news ahead of the game was that Lukaku had chopped off his dreadlocks...
