Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has criticised his team after their poor performance in their home defeat to Swansea yesterday.

Wenger believes that despite the woeful display the team could comfortably have held on to a goalless draw, but the lack of concentration and defending in the final ten minutes let them down.

Arsenal are anchored in mid table and a well-below capacity crowd at the Emirates showed their anger at full time with boos and jeers aimed at the manager.

“We should have been able to hold on for a nil-nil draw,” Wenger told talkSPORT.

“There was no movement or speed in our passing and we looked laboured not sharp. We had a lot of possession but they created more chances than we did.

“We have to find a solution to this because we turn teams around without hurting teams.”

Oh great … we should have been able to hold on (at home) for a 0/0 draw against Swansea. Can anyone tell Wenger how much it has cost to put together the Swansea team who deserved to win ?
