West Ham defender Winston Reid expects the Hammers to play without fear against Liverpool this afternoon, as reported by the club’s official site.

Liverpool come to East London knowing that a win is a must and will send them back to the top of the Premier League with six games to go.

West Ham were booed off after their last home game, despite beating Hull 2-1, and their safety was guaranteed with a win at Sunderland last week.

Reid knows that the pressure is now off of the Hammers and they are hoping to dent Liverpool’s title chances.

“I think we can play freely on Sunday,” Reid said..

“Liverpool are hunting for the title so a lot of the pressure is on them.

“Nobody is going to expect us to go out there and get something from the game, but I’m sure we’ll put in a good performance.

“It’s going to be a tough game, we all know that, but we’ve been getting good results in the last couple of games, so hopefully that can continue.

“There’s still stuff we can improve on and that’s what we want to do between now and the end of the season.”
