West Ham United looks set to add Emanuel Insua to their list of summer signings after already confirming moves for Mauro Zarate and Cheikhou Kouyate, Mirror reports.
The Boca Juniors left back has agreed personal terms with the club and is now waiting to finalize negotiations.
His move to join Sam Allardyce’s squad revival could be announced in the coming days should the Argentinian side reach an agreement over the switch.
Insua’s potential transfer will be Allardyce’s second Argentine signing after Zarate recently became a Hammers player as the English manager aims to improve his team after an unconvincing previous season.
His older brother, Emiliano Insua, used to play for Liverpool but failed to make an impact causing the Reds to send him out on loan before eventually selling him to Sporting CP.
‘Big Sam’ also added another player to his ranks when he signed Anderlecht defensive midfielder Kouyate for around £7 million.
