West Ham United are interested in bringing Fenerbahce star Raul Meireles back to the English Premier League, Daily Star reports.
The Turkish side are believed to be open to negotiations if any club can provide them with a bid of over £3 million for the Portuguese international.
Sam Allardyce has already made a move for the former Chelsea and Liverpool midfielder back in January, but saw his bid rejected.
Meireles’ current team are said to need a deal to aid with their financial issues, with the move for the 31-year-old a viable solution.
The West Ham boss is on a current squad overhaul having already secure the services of Cheikhou Kouyate from Anderlecht as well as Mauro Zarate from Velez Sarsfield.
In addition, Allardyce needs to add more players after the departures of Joe Cole and Jack Collison with his squad aiming for a better finish after ending the previous season in 13th place.
