Wolfsburg midfielder Diego has confirmed that he has received numerous enquires about a possible January move, as reported by Sky Sports.
The Brazilian star is out of contract in the summer and the German club are unlikely to offer him a new deal, with the 28 year old being by far and away the highest paid player at the club.
Diego has fine reputation as a player but has seemingly failed to settle at most of his clubs which include Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Porto.
The German press are reporting that the Premier League is a real option for the attacking midfielder and that a cut price January move could be on the cards if the astronomical wages can be dealt with.
“Many people are obviously out to find me a new club to play for.
“But there is no decision to be taken just yet. It’s a fact I am receiving many, many enquiries but there is still nothing official to reveal.”
