You can’t blame the older generation for struggling to understand the concept of Twitter. When they were young whipper-snappers, the internet hadn’t even been invented yet, let alone a website that can help you share your opinions – as detestable, outrageous or simply idiotic as they may be – with virtually anybody in the world.

But at 45 years of age and part of a footballing industry that’s becoming only further dependant on social media, you’d expect former Hull City, Middlesbrough and Bradford striker Dean Windass to have a slightly better ‘handle’ on things. See what I did there? We at Football Fancast can’t decide what’s worse…the Tigers legend’s spelling, or the fact he’s having a conversation with himself seemingly without even realising it… in front of the entire internet.
