Premiership Return

Posted by: Freddie FanCast, Wed 26th Sep 2007

When we sold Ashley Young in the January window; it is clear Aide was preparing for the inevitable relegation. Few could blame him considering we had the likes of Bouazza coming through.

When Bouazza was sold I was pulling my hair out and couldnt fathom what he was playing at but its clear our manager has the midas touch and clearly knows what is required...he has even got Henderson scoring again.

We look certain to return back to the Premiership and I take back any doubts I had about Aide; clearly the best manager outside the Premiership.

yeah Adiy did a great job in doing the majority of his spending for this season in January. Instead of living in la la land, he accepted that the players we had then gave there all, but were just not good enough. He has built an excellent team, and gott some promising youngsters. Don't agree with you about Bouazza though, he left when he should have stayed for longer to develop. Too soon in my opinion and he didn't want to stay so I didn't want a player like that anywhere near Watford.

agree with you on the Bouazza point, it was obvious when Ashley Young left that it was the right time for him to go, but Bouazza had one ok season and decided he was destined for the Prem, in fairness to him he's looked good for Fulham when I've seen him, we got good money for him, and he was an arrogant player who was good and he knew it. The youngsters have done fantastically and its great to have a nucleus of Smith, Mariappa, Doyley, Lee from the youth team with the experience of homegrown players like Jobi, Marlon, Shittu and Hendo, I think the squad at the moment is the strongest since I have been watching them in over 15years.

selling bouazza was just pure business, 4 million for him is good for us. bouazza cant play championship football, its to physical for him and he suits the prem. glad hes gone! that 4 million we got 4 him paid for the duke of ellington and he will score more than that alien headed french knob! great show lads! love it!

9 mil for ash at the time
9 mil for ash at the time could not be turned down and it was a good deal for all parties. bouazza had to be sold because he didnt want to play for us any more and is a selfish big headed frog who only thinks about himself.he moved too soon and was not ready and in 2 years time when hes being loaned out to huddersfield he will know what a mistake he made. I can see anything but a immediate return to the Premiership. Fantastic result against Palace! Aidy Boothroyd is the best manager outside the Premiership.

Alright guys Yeah, what's happening. I thought we were dead certs, now, I aint so sure - we're playing like a team that doesn't even know each other. Do you think there's something goin on behind the scenes you know? You have to wonder, agree with the points about ash & hameur, one knows what he's doin, the other doesn't. c'mon hornets, sort it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
