After seeing quite a few red cards this weekend along with some dangerous tackles, maybe it’s time to share a more pain-free man marking and tackling style. During their match against Manchester City, Hull defender James Chester showed everyone just how it can be done.
Given the task of man marking City’s Javi Garcia, the Hull defender decided he’d try a novel way to draw the midfielder’s attention away from the incoming free kick.
Unfortunately, the method didn’t seem to work as Hull eventually lost the game 2-0, but it’s worth a watch anyway…
