Marouane Fellaini may have a pantomime haircut, but there’s been absolutely nothing pantomime about the Belgian’s performances in an Everton shirt this term.
His staggering versatility and remarkable consistency has seen him become one of the Premier League’s most prized assets and while there’s certainly nothing new about his ability, this season has seen Fellaini develop a ruthless streak in front of goal.
Equally as adept as shielding the back four as he is driving his team forward in attack, Fellaini has scored a superb 10 goals in 20 Premier League games so far this season. He’s a shoo-in for this XI of the season so far and probably will be for the player of the year as well.
