Ashley Williams has this season captained Swansea City to the club’s first ever League cup final, not to mention their solid standing in the Premier League.
The Wales international has been a rock at the heart of the defence for his club, which has allowed for the rest of the team to play some impressive attacking football.
The 28-year-old is incredibly athletic, and knows how to use his pace and physicality to his advantage. He’s an excellent covering centre-back and would made a good replacement for the reportedly outgoing Johnny Heitinga at Everton, as well as the Reds’ retiring hero Jamie Carragher.
