Liam Brady has no doubt that Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere will be one of the best players that ever played for England by the end of his career with the national team.

Arsenal's Head of Youth Development assures Wilshere will be aligned with the greatest legends of the Three Lions: “He’ll be up there with the most skilful players England have ever had. People like Glenn Hoddle, Paul Gascoigne and Wayne Rooney. Jack Wilshere will be in with those sort of players”, Brady declared to Talk Sport.

In an interview with the radio station, former Arsenal midfielder emphasised the youngster leadership skills as a key factor for his future achievements, pointing out how other Arsenal players “give him the ball to make things happen” and adding up that Wilshere “is leading the team now”.

To date, injuries seem to had been Wilshere's only obstacle on his way to individual success and general recognition. The skilful midfielder missed the whole 2011/2012 season due to an ankle injury that kept him out until January and a recurrence of it when he was set to reappear.

In regards of this matter, the man that brought Wilshere to Arsenal youth scheme showed no hesitation about his successful recovery: “He will play an enormous amount of games for his country. Everyone was nervous about his comeback but he has improved every game”, Brady stated.
