Brought in last season to replace Paolo Sousa many fans and pundits wrote off Swansea’s chances of even surviving the drop after Rodger’s dramatic failure at Reading the season before. But some shrewd business in the transfer market and superb tactical decisions saw the Swans sweep all in front of them. Worked under Jose Mourinho at Chelsea and also had a good spell in charge of Watford.
