Chelsea have certainly cranked up the pressure in the last few weeks and after triumphing at Goodison Park they remain just four points off second place Manchester City with a game in hand.

Rafael Benitez's arrival has heralded an upturn in form as they have lost just twice in their past 11 league and cup fixtures.

Going into this bitter West London derby their near neighbours QPR sit at the opposite end of the spectrum to the Blues. Things are particularly downbeat after their latest drubbing at home from Liverpool.

They will be hoping Harry can find some of that Houdini magic in 2013 and prove that an old dog can learn new tricks even with the position QPR sit in now.

QPR won’t exactly be expecting much as they have never beaten Chelsea in a Premier League fixture at Stamford Bridge and they would be brave to expect a change in those fortunes here.

The last time these two met at the Bridge resulted in a 6-1 mauling and the R’s fans will be hoping to see nowhere near a repeat of that kind of display on Wednesday.

Redknapp will be worried at the latest visit for his side as QPR have yet to win on the road this season.

Frank Lampard could again feature after providing a timely reminder of what he brings to the table. Some Press outlets suggest before the last match against Everton he was free to move elsewhere after 11 years at Stamford Bridge. His brace though was his third Premier League goal in as many games and you wouldn’t bet against him making it four in four.

Captain John Terry is working his way back to full fitness, while midfielder Oriol Romeu is still facing an extended stint in the treatment room, much to the Blues fans frustration.

Park Ji-Sung is the most prominent name in a whole host of experienced players that QPR will be missing on Wednesday, including Jose Bosingwa, Bobby Zamora and Nedum Onuoha, as they all have injury concerns or don’t feature for other reasons.

The QPR tickets surprisingly went on general sale as fans decided to stay away from the hefty ticket prices and they may come to regret that decision.

Prediction: Chelsea 4-0 QPR
