The games last season were tight affairs ending in 1-1 draws, with Wigan yet to taste victory at Carrow Road in the Premier League.
Norwich hope to welcome back midfield duo Wes Hoolahan and Alex Tettey back for the fixture with both suffering groin and thigh injuries respectively. Harry Kane should be ready for selection after returning from a broken Metatarsal. Ryan Bennett, Andrew Surman and John Ruddy remain long term injury concerns.
The Wigan defensive unit will be boosted with the returns of Maynor Figueroa and Steven Caldwell from one match suspensions. The injury list remains lengthy at the DW with Antolin Alcaraz (groin), Albert Crusat (knee), Ryo Miyaichi (ankle) and Ben Watson (broken leg) all missing out.
