Premier League table.

The Canaries are unbeaten in their last nine league outings and this is their best domestic form in the top tier since 1987.

The Latics are in desperate need of a win having slid down into the relegation following a draw against DW stadium last weekend. All is not lost for them though as only two points separates them from 14th placed Newcastle.

The games last season were tight affairs ending in 1-1 draws, with Wigan yet to taste victory at Carrow Road in the Premier League.

Norwich hope to welcome back midfield duo Wes Hoolahan and Alex Tettey back for the fixture with both suffering groin and thigh injuries respectively. Harry Kane should be ready for selection after returning from a broken Metatarsal. Ryan Bennett, Andrew Surman and John Ruddy remain long term injury concerns.

The Wigan defensive unit will be boosted with the returns of Maynor Figueroa and Steven Caldwell from one match suspensions. Despite this the latter looks unable to return to fitness in time for the clash. They still remain desperately short for options of the back with Ivan Ramis having hamstring trouble. The injury list remains lengthy at the DW with Antolin Alcaraz (groin), Albert Crusat (knee), Ryo Miyaichi (ankle) and Ben Watson (broken leg) all missing out.

Prediction: Norwich 0-0 Wigan

Steven Caldwell plays for Birmingham City. Last season at Carrow Road wasn’t tight, Wigan should have won easily, Norwich were hanging on at the end

My Apologies. You are correct it is Gary Caldwell, sloppy mistake, thanks for correcting. I think Wigan were strong in the end of that game but Norwich could have grabbed it too.
