Manchester United v Man City LIVE!

    Probable Lineups:

Manchester City Manchester UnitedManchester United (4-4-1-1): De Gea, Rafael, Carrick, Jones, Evra, Young, Fletcher, Fellaini, Kagawa, Mata, Rooney

Manchester United will be in confident mood ahead of the Manchester derby, coming off a 2-0 win over West Ham during the weekend as well as making it to the Champions League last-eight with a Robin van Persie inspired 3-0 win over Olympiakos. The Dutchman however is still out with injury, meaning Wayne Rooney will continue leading the line after his brace against the Hammers. The Red Devil’s issue will be at defence, with Chris Smalling and Rio Ferdinand injured, while Nemanja Vidic is still suspended after his red card against Liverpool. Michaek Carrick deputized as center-back against the Hammers and could continue there again with Darren Fletcher back to full fitness to partner Marouane Fellaini in midfield.

Manchester City (4-2-3-1): Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Demichelis, Kolarov, Y Touré, Fernandinho, Milner, Nasri, Silva, Nergredo

Manchester City travel to Old Trafford after a very convincing 5-0 win over Fulham during the weekend, with Yaya Toure grabbing a hat-trick. The Sky Blues also welcome back captain Vincent Kompany, who missed the Fulham game with suspension for his red card against Hull City. Manuel Pellegrini changed his usual 4-4-2 formation to play a 4-2-3-1 against Fulham and could use the same system at Old Trafford, with Negredo flanked by David Silva and James Milner while Samir Nasri plays ‘in the hole’ behind the Spaniard. Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic provide alternatives to the forward line.

    Remember this?

A lucky fan happened to keep his camera rolling when Wayne Rooney scores the best Premier League goal of the past decade. Amazing.

Although Manchester United are in a bit of form, their shaky defence is bound to lose goals against a very fluid Manchester City side and we’re backing Samir Nasri – who started ‘in the hole’ against Fulham – to penetrate the Red Devil’s back-line.
