    Watford vs Middlesbrough

The Hornets have lost just one of their previous five league games against Middlesbrough at Vicarage Road, though this did come in last season’s fixture.

Middlesbrough’s last league clean sheet away at Watford came in October 1990 – they’ve conceded in each of the nine meetings played there since.

Watford have been shown 60 yellow cards so far this season, the most in the Championship.

Boro have kept three clean sheets in a row, the current longest run by a Championship side. They last kept four sides out consecutively in October 2011 (a run of five games).

The Hornets have scored 10 times in the opening 15 minutes this season, the highest tally from a Championship side.

Middlesbrough have also failed to score in four league games. The last time they failed to find the net in five was in February 2009 in the Premier League.
