    UCL LIVE! Chelsea v Galatasaray

    Probable Lineups:

Chelsea (4-2-3-1): Cech, Ivanovic, Terry, Cahill, Azpilicueta, Ramires, Lampard, Willian, Oscar, Hazard, Eto’o

Jose Mourinho was fuming after his side’s 1-0 away loss to Aston Villa after he had two players sent off as well as being sent to the stands himself.  He will however be looking forward to facing Galatasaray at Stamford Bridge to become the first English team to make it to the Champions League quarter-final this year. The Blues have won 10 out of the last 12 home fixtures in the Champions League and will be confident of getting the result.  Frank Lampard should start in center midfield in place of Serbian Namanja Matic, who is ineligible for the clash.  Samuel Eto’o has been the preferred striker at home but Fernando Torres has scored six goals in his last 5 Champions League starts, giving Mourinho a slight selection headache.

Galatasaray (4-4-2): Muslera, Eboue, Chedjou, Balta, Alex Telles, Melo, Sneijder, Hajrovic, Inan, Yilmaz, Drogba

The return of Didier Drogba to has been hogging the football headlines and Galatasaray will hope that the Ivorian puts in a performance to send his former club out of the competition. Drogba does have more Champions League goals than any other player at Stamford Bridge – 17 – and another could help his side make Chelsea the third English club knocked out from the last-16. The game will also see Roberto Mancini come back to England after managing Manchester City to their first Premier League title two years ago. Wesley Sneijder, who played under Mourinho at Inter Milan, should sit in the midfield pivot alongside Felipe Melo, while Burak Yilmaz supports Didier Drogba up top.

Although all the focus is on Didier Drogba’s return, it is his African counterpart that could guide Chelsea into the quarter-finals. Samuel Eto’o has been scoring in the big home clashes and being rested at the weekend, will be expected to perform in front of his home crowd once again.
