"Joey Barton has criticised Neil Warnock on Twitter for saying that tweets acted like poison on his chances of keeping his job. Surely Barton just proved Warnock’s point? There is more to it than just Twitter but it didn’t help. [...]" · View

ThumbnailHaving let their two goal lead go up in smoke at home against Everton, Manchester United go into the biggest ever Manchester derby at risk of losing hold of the title. Three weeks before this clash Sir Alex Ferguson’s side were eight points in front of their neighbours but a surprise defeat to Wigan and a [...]

ThumbnailThe title is guaranteed to be staying in Manchester this season, but whether it will be the red or blue half of the city celebrating is still firmly in the balance. With just three points separating the sides, a win for United would all but guarantee a 20th league title and ensure the title stayed at [...]

ThumbnailSince his arrival in Manchester, Mario Balotelli has been linked to a number of stunners and his latest squeeze is sexy Raffaella Fico. Super Mario is a lucky boy after bagging this gorgeous Italian model that had a reported romance with another self-confident playboy, Cristiano Ronaldo, in 2009 and has been linked to Silvio Berlusconi’s ‘Bunga [...]

  • ThumbnailFor any wannabe Wenger’s, Mourinho’s or Ferguson’s, Football Manager has been the place to cut their teeth. Over the years millions have sat in front of the computer screens, deciding on their matchday tactics and delving into the transfer market to make their team unbeatable. Like the managerial greats, we have all made a few bad [...]

ThumbnailSacking a manager is a difficult decision for any chairman to make but choosing their replacement is even more crucial. Whatever the reason is behind the boss getting the boot it is vital that the new man makes changes and breathes fresh air into the team, so why do clubs give the job to the assistant? [...]

ThumbnailWhen something goes wrong at our football club we immediately look for someone to blame. Every club has somebody that fans believe is costing the club matches and shouldn’t be anywhere near the team. Forums and phone-ins light up each weekend with people wanting to have their say about their team and it is almost guaranteed [...]

ThumbnailSince the iconic St James’ Park was renamed the Sports Direct Arena by Newcastle’s ingenious owner Mike Ashley, the issue has been on the lips of every football fan. While it can earn clubs a lot of money, it appears to be another step away from the traditions of the game and a plunge into the [...]

  • Joshua Robbins commented on the blog post Why United should fight for Ravel Morrison   4 months ago · View

I agree with you, I think he should be given more game time but the fact he hasn’t suggests that his attitude is poor. I hope Morrison looks at the Hernandez situation and does the same but I feel he is receiving bad, money-driven advice. United may have to give some leeway if they want [...]

  • Joshua Robbins commented on the blog post Why United should fight for Ravel Morrison   4 months ago · View

Thanks for your opinion although it’s not regurgitation and definitely not plaigarism. I can’t tell you why Morrison wasn’t in the team but it could be anything from teaching him a lesson to him being on his way out. The problem is that Ravel appears to lack commitment and might not make it with that [...]

ThumbnailThe FA’s decision to charge Mario Balotelli with violent conduct for stamping on Scott Parker’s head added yet another blot on the Manchester City striker’s copy book. In what was one of the most even and entertaining games of the season, the Italian should have been grabbing the headlines for scoring a last minute penalty to [...]

Maybe so, but at 18 nobody can be sure how he will turn out in the end but he is worth a contract to see if his potential does develop.

ThumbnailRavel Morrison has shot into the public eye this season as the best player to come through the Manchester United academy in more than a decade. The attacking midfielder was instrumental in the club winning the FA Youth Cup last season and was widely regarded as the competition’s best player. He has made just three appearances [...]

Joey Barton has criticised Neil Warnock on Twitter for saying that tweets acted like poison on his chances of keeping his job. Surely Barton just proved Warnock’s point? There is more to it than just Twitter but it didn’t help. And when Warnock was the only person willing to take a chance on Barton its rather disrespectful.

Good luck to Chris Coleman as Wales manager. Very difficult to take over in the circumstances but there is a great base of players and he could be in charge of something special.
