Kevin Kammien wrote a new blog post: Arsenal legend defends Chelsea boss 3 months, 2 weeks ago · View
Ian Wright defends Rafael Benítez after his rant towards Chelsea fans and the board. Wright believes Benitez is “getting a lot of stick just because of the Liverpool connection.” Benítez could no longer keep quiet after Chelsea’s 2-0 FA Cup fifth-round win at Middlesbrough. Benitez was critical of a group of fans that sang, “We don’t care [...] -
Kevin Kammien commented on the blog post Coutinho will be able to quickly adapt to the Premier League’s physicality. 4 months, 1 week ago · View
Coutinho will struggle for a starting place at Liverpool. From what I’ve seen of him he at least looks better than Borini, but he has similar attributes. He’s quick, but maybe lacks that blistering pace to change a game.

Kevin Kammien commented on the blog post Suarez will stay with Liverpool even if they fail to finish in the top 4. 4 months, 1 week ago · View
As long as Suarez sees Liverpool improving, he’ll stay. Liverpool’s style of play suits him, the leagues suits him, I don’t see him going anywhere next season.

Kevin Kammien commented on the blog post Christian Benteke will play for a Champions League club next season. 4 months, 1 week ago · View
If Villa stay up, which I think they will, he’ll stay. Randy Lerner won’t be willing to depart with his star player, and will do all he can to make sure that happens.

Kevin Kammien commented on the blog post Everton should take the £30 million and run for Marouane Fellaini this summer. 4 months, 1 week ago · View
It would be tough for Everton to say no to that. He’s a player to build a team around, but when you don’t have the funds to keep building, it makes sense to accept the offer.

Kevin Kammien commented on the blog post This season will be a failure for Liverpool if they don’t finish in the top 4 4 months, 1 week ago · View
I don’t think Liverpool have enough to finish in the top 4 this year, and that’s just fine. They simply don’t have enough depth to run the style Rogers wants yet. It’s unknown whether this style can be successful in England, but we will see in a few years from now if Liverpool get the [...]

Kevin Kammien commented on the blog post Did Tottenham fail in the January window? 4 months, 1 week ago · View
Tottenham have four central attacking midfielders in (Sigurosson, Holtby, Dempsey, and Bale) and only one fit striker in Adebayor. They can get into the top four IF Villas-Boas can figure out which of these central attackers can convert into a striker to give support.

Kevin Kammien commented on the blog post Robin Van Persie is the best player in England 4 months, 1 week ago · View
Tough to argue against this, it really is. He isn’t the best all around player in the league, but he’s the best at what he does, and that’s finish.

Kevin Kammien commented on the blog post Rafa Benitez will be sacked before the summer. 4 months, 1 week ago · View
I don’t think he’ll go before summer, but maybe that’s out of personal pity. Ruthless Abramovich has coaches scared to take the position, so I think he will wait till summer as to not scare his top long term targets away.

Kevin Kammien commented on the blog post Jordan Henderson is at his best in central midfield 4 months, 1 week ago · View
I would have had a different answer a month or two ago, but Henderson has put together some fine performances in the middle. I think Liverpool have been better off with him out wide up until this point, but he has proven he can change a game from the centre in recent weeks.

Kevin Kammien commented on the blog post Newcastle’s signings will power them to a top 8 finish 4 months, 1 week ago · View
Smart signings will bring Newcastle into 8th, but no higher. Newcastle now need solid coaching to bring it all together next season, not so sure Pardew’s that man.

Kevin Kammien commented on the blog post Zaha was enough January business for Manchester United 4 months, 1 week ago · View
There’s no denying that Man U will need a central midfielder in the near future, but the market for a superstar was light, and now wasn’t the time. Zaha will be a great signing that will push Ashley Young and Valencia next year.

Kevin Kammien commented on the blog post De Gea should be replaced in Summer 2013 4 months, 1 week ago · View
De Gea is a top prospect who is still learning. The reality is a club like Man U are too big to let him slowly learn. Sign someone and loan him out for a few years for experience.

Kevin Kammien commented on the blog post Walcott is more effective in the middle than out wide 4 months, 1 week ago · View
I disagree, if Arsenal are to compete for trophies, Walcott needs to remain a piece in the puzzle, but not the star man in the middle. HE is better in the middle, Arsenal are not as a whole.

Kevin Kammien commented on the blog post Nacho Monreal is the signing Arsenal needed in January to finish in the top 4 4 months, 1 week ago · View
Arsenal need someone to control the midfield, someone who can put the team on his back at times. Arteta, Wilshere, and Cazorla would thrive with powerful presence to rally around. Diaby is quality, but isn’t that man.

Kevin Kammien wrote a new blog post: Nottingham Forest to welcome back midfield star 4 months, 3 weeks ago · View
Algeria came into the 2013 African Cup of Nations ranked 2nd and were picked by many to win the tournament for the second time in their history. However, they are heading home after two disappointing losses to Togo and Tunisia, meaning there is nothing riding on their final Group D game against pre-tournament favourites Ivory Coast.
