Opinion part 2 Mine. My Opinion on what we (LFC) are doing right and what is going wrong.
1) Players we have who are not up to the job: Start with the big man yes the much maligned Andy Carrol well this is a trick one is he a bad player? no could he play as England’s number 9? yes.
is he the right player for LFC sadly no. now do not get me wrong i like him i think he is a top player who is capable of scoring huge amounts of goals but he is not right for our system.
Downing i think we bought him for the same reason we bought Carroll we had no other choice young went to united we could not promise better wide men what they wanted ie europe, huge wages etc so we settled with a decent but not exciting winger. He will never score the goals we need and he is not good enough to link with our other strikers he was bought solely to link with carrol and it has not worked.
Luis Suarez yes thats right Suarez increasingly frustrating, dives like a lemming on speed and is fast becoming our version of Ballotelli but without the goals. yes he is skilful yes he is strong and yes he has had more touches of the ball in the opponents box than any other in the prem but he has the worst shot to goal ratio as well. he has now been charged twice by the FA he constantly moans at the ref instead of staying on his feet and scoring(Suarez has started to be compared to Drogba and Ronaldo unfortunately though its his diving not goal scoring they are comparing them for).the answer is buy either a ten who will slow things down and feed Suarez decent passes or buy a decent 9 who has equal quick movement as Luis and he can feed of of Suarez.
Finally Charlie Adam some compare him to Alonso which is ridiculous imo Adam very often runs a marathon for LFC but i do not praise running alongside players or just running into them without actually putting a challenge in its pointless yes he has on a rare occasion picked out a sublime pass only to hit 10 other wayward ones, he is incapable of threading the ball through to our forwards like Alonso did. At this level he is not able to score either which is a worry for me.In his position we need a playmaker of a much much higher standard in fact i would rather play Shelvey he can tackle he can pass he is direct and is not afraid to have a dig either and he is much much quicker than adam untill we can bring in a top level goal scoring playmaker Shelvey should be given a real go in midfield

Opinion. Whose opinion counts? some LFC fans believe we should all blindly support every player who is signed and every decision that lfc make. yet the same fans were quick to call for Roy Hodgsons head (rightly so imo but he only got 6 mths to turn things round and as we are all witnessing 6mths is not long enough) the same fans were quick to say poulsen, konchesky,ngog,babel etc were not good enough but now say we should blindly show faith in carroll and downing and adam and henderson and not express our opinion on whether they are of good enough quality to play for the club we all support.
Opinion is exactly that and we all should be able to express an opinion on all aspects of LFC.
