I'm new to this site and have listened to a few previous podcasts. I like the podjockeys and their insightful comments. I wonder how busy this site will get get during the Euros with England not there. I have to say I feel relieved we aren't there as in our current state it would only be the same curious mix of frustration and bordeom watching England. Its also worthy to note how the England players are spending their summer; so far the appear to be enjoying stag doos, holidays in glamourous locations and generally having an extended time off on full pay - such a disincentive for them not to qualify isn't it!!! And thats my point really. What do the England players get for not qualifying? Answer, a nice trip to Trinidad and Tobago, an extended holiday with their mates on the beer and oh yes they're still on £100k a week + with their clubs i.e. there IS no disincentive!!! It used to be that international tournaments was where players had the chance to showcase their talent for club football. Not any more, we have the Champions League for that. I think, to round up my comment, thats part of the problem!!!!
