Make no mistake about it, the Sam Allardyce revival is well underway at Crystal Palace.

It always felt as if the Eagles' form couldn't get any worse following the 3-0 defeat to West Ham and although their next Premier League fixture ended in a late defeat at the hands of Everton, it showed signs of real progress and the Allardyce mantra of clean-sheet-comes-first taking effect.

The south London outfit produced further evidence of the 'Allardici revolution' last night as Big Sam recorded his first Premier League win since taking the reigns at Selhurst Park - a 2-0 away victory over Bournemouth.

Perhaps most pleasingly of all for Palace fans, the recently out-of-sorts Christian Benteke produced a huge uplift in performance, scoring the second goal in stoppage time to guarantee all three points for Allardyce's Eagles.

And as our infographic shows, that was by no means Benteke's only contribution. He also took a further two shots at goal, completed one dribble and chipped in defensively with one tackle - but most impressively, won a staggering twelve aerial duels.

If Allardyce can keep the Belgian battering ram in this kind of form until the end of the season, Palace will almost certainly stave off relegation.
