Had it not been for yesterday's enthralling EFL Cup final, Tottenham's 4-0 romping of Stoke City might be gaining more attention.
The Potters are a decent if inconsistent side but were hardly in the match at White Hart Lane, demolished by a Harry Kane hat-trick - his third in nine games - and a second-half strike from the villain of Spurs' shock Europa League elimination in midweek, Dele Alli.

The England duo inevitably dominated the headlines this morning; Kane being his usual squeaky-clean yet ever-dependable self and Alli enjoying a narrative of redemption; but one of their team-mates deserves equal praise for his efforts just behind them - attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen.
As our infographic shows, the Danish playmaker was key in Spurs' impressive romping, grabbing the assists for Kane's second and third goals.
But they were just two of nine chances Eriksen actually created against the Potters, whilst he also weighed in with six crosses and three efforts at goal himself, none of which beat goalkeeper Lee Grant. Perhaps most tellingly, he finished the match with the third-most touches of any Spurs player, after team-mates Toby Alderweireld and Mousa Dembele, which is no mean feat considering the amount of time he spent in the final third.
