Footballing siblings always have a sense of novelty about them, and no more than the Neville brothers. If not due to the fact their father is named Neville Neville, then it's their rather off-beat and dead pan relationship that I find rather humorous. Their styles on the pitch are boring and sensible, and according to the words of Gary, there is little difference off the pitch. He recently told Sky Sports viewers that while he may be the kind of guy to limit his drinking to a couple of pints on a night out or at a party before calling it an evening, which may seem rather dull, his sibling and Everton Captain Phil would ... How was that a straight red? Referee needs a lobotamy. Roy Keanes comments and attitude after the game were also completely wrong. By keane’s logic, overhead kicks would need to become a straight red card offence.

as a city fan i did have a little chuckle when nani got sent off, but the referee has to think about the game that is being played it was united against Real Madrid how often does that happen do i want to destroy the spectacle that is this game. having looked at the incident many times i do not think nani should have been red carded and infact I think that Arbeloa played for the foul, which i think many players do now which is worse than diving and is destroying the game in a very subtle way.

Nani watched the ball – Arbeloa came in partly from behind. He saw the situation coming up and could have avoided it.
Thinking of the game against Bayern Munich for two or three(?) years ago when United also had to play most of the second half with only ten men. It is even more frustrating.

1). He jumped but never contacted the ball save for opponents that’s Dangerous play.
2). Raised his boot beyond enduring point.
3). simulating/pretending on the floor (by rolling) as if he’s fouled against. 1+2+3 = RED CARD.
If united doubt this, they should appeal the decision. The result will not be reversed, but suspension next season will be nullified. Also people like me will know it as injustice. Chelsea did that this season!

If that was a red card, then why was Varane not sent off in Bernabeu been a last defender?
