After much speculation, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy finally exercised the contractual clause to dispense with Tim Sherwood's services as manager. The news that nearly everybody had expected for some time eventually broke earlier today, with Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino identified by many outlets as the most likely successor.
