Manchester United are a club with a rich history of great wingers, and it has been a position that has been vital to their success over the years. The most recent great was obviously Cristiano Ronaldo, but those that have been brought in since his departure have failed to find the desired consistency. The latest to catch the eye of Sir Alex Ferguson is Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha. The recently capped England international has lit up the Championship so far this season at Selhurst Park and was the subject of interest from a host of Premier League sides, but it was Ferguson who took the plunge to complete a deal.     Why change things when Manchester United has a 9 point lead? Zaha will be a tremendous addition to next year’s roster.

    There’s no denying that Man U will need a central midfielder in the near future, but the market for a superstar was light, and now wasn’t the time. Zaha will be a great signing that will push Ashley Young and Valencia next year.
