Announced as one of eight players to be released at the end of last season, defender Jean Yves Mvoto will be with Oldham Athletic for two more years. Joining the Latics' from Southend and Sunderland before that, Yves Mvoto scored his first goal with the club in a 4-2 victory over Plymouth before injuring his ankle and side-lining the remainder of his season in 2010.
