12. Olivier Giroud – Arsenal
Olivier Giroud arrives at Arsenal with plenty of goal scoring responsibility on his shoulders as Arsene Wenger will be looking for him to provide the goals lost to Manchester United through the sale of Dutchman Robin van Persie.
Giroud has a good record in Ligue 1 in France, helping Montpellier to their first league title in the club’s history in 2012 before the Frenchman made the step up to English football.
The 6ft 4in striker will offer Arsenal something different up front, as the Gunners will be able to utilise his abilities as a target man and put more crosses into the box.
Giroud seems to be coming into his prime as he starts to appear more regularly for the French national team and will look to meet his target of scoring 15 Premier League goals a season.
