Miralem Pjanic will not be on the move this summer, according to Roma’s manager Rudi Garcia.

The Bosnian playmaker has been heavily linked with a switch away from the Stadio Olimpico of late, with Arsenal and Manchester United thought to be two of the more interested parties.

Pjanic has been a major player for Roma this term, helping them to mount a serious push for the Serie A title.

But with his contract set to expire next year, a switch away from the Italian capital at the end of the season has been mooted.

Pjanic is expected to play a big role for his nation at the World Cup, which could see interest in his services increase massively.

Yet Garcia has moved to play down speculation, insisting that his talented midfielder will be staying at the club:

“Next time you’ll hear from Miralem, it’ll be about his contract renewal at Roma,” he is quoted by talkSPORT.

As well as Arsenal and United, French giants Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with Pjanic.

The Ligue 1 champions are thought to be favourites to land him, even though they already possess a squad full of talented central players.
