The 22-year-old Brazilian has been linked with a number of clubs across Europe and the Premier League, with Liverpool and Chelsea both being previously linked.
He came to everyone’s attentions last year after helping Hellas Verona to Serie A, and impressed during the first half of this season in the Italian top flight.
That prompted Rafael Benitez to sign the talented playmaker on a co-ownership deal in January, and he has gone on to make 11 appearances since.
But Jorginho could find himself on the move again in the near future, with reports suggesting the players agent Joao Santos held talks with Arsenal in London earlier in the month.
Santos is reportedly scheduled to meet Napoli officials during the second week of April to discuss the future of his client, while Arsenal’s north London rivals Tottenham are preparing to battle for his signature, should he become available for transfer.
The Gunners however will consider themselves to be in pole position, should they manage to see off Everton in the race for fourth place, and Champions League football.
