Arsenal have suffered another injury setback after midfielder Aaron Ramsey has been ruled out for at least six weeks after failing to recover from a thigh injury, according to Sky Sports.
The Welshman was due to return to regular training earlier in the week, but has now been forced out for a further 6 weeks. The news will come as a huge blow for Arsene Wenger and Arsenal supporters alike, as Ramsey was enjoying his best ever season, scoring 13 goals in all competitions.
The news comes in conjunction with Theo Walcott’s season ending injury, Mathieu Flamini’s recent suspension and Jack Wilshere’s niggling ankle problems. Arsenal now look light in the center of the park and may look to dip into the transfer market on deadline day, with Arsene Wenger saying he is 80% sure Arsenal will sign someone.
Time will tell if Arsenal are able to find a replacement or two, even on a short term loan basis.
Aaron Ramsey ruled out for a month, Walcott out for the season and Arsenal’s massive run of fixtures starts soon. Will they hang on?

Ramsey sustained the injury on December 26th, hobbling off during Arsenal’s 3-1 victory over West Ham. Arsenal have been heavily linked to Schalke star Julian Drexler, but that deal has since been denied by both clubs. Mirko Vucinic, Saloman Kalou, and Kim Kallstrom have also been mooted as possible targets.
Aaron Ramsey has been ruled out for 6 weeks. Just kill me now. Will be very hard to win the title without him and Walcott. Horrible luck.
