Arsenal are keen to tie up a summer move for Paris Saint-Germain’s talented young midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to reports from Le10Sport.

The 19-year-old playmaker is thought of as one of France’s top talents, but his future with the current Ligue 1 champions is far from clear.

PSG are keen to extend his stay beyond the end of his 2015 contract, yet the teenager himself wants guarantees regarding playing time – which has been limited for him in recent months.

Rabiot is currently battling a host of established stars such as Yohan Cabaye, Blaise Matuidi and Thaigo Motta for a starting berth, with the trio, plus a few others, outranking him in terms of experience.

This has alerted Arsenal, who are understood to be discussing the possibility of a swoop with the Parisians.

Rabiot himself may be tempted by the north Londoners, who have a long tradition of nurturing top French talent and possess one of the nation’s greatest ever coaches in the shape of Arsene Wenger.

Chelsea are also keen, yet the Gunners are thought to be more likely to tie up a deal than their cross-city rivals.
